Hello! My name is Paul, and I’m the author of this blog here at Xatal.

I’m a freshman at UC Santa Cruz, and I know what it’s like to have questions about high school and college. Whether you’re unsure about the SATs, curious about what to see on a college tour, or wondering what kinds of jobs you should apply for, I’ve been there.

Sure, there are other websites that will give you advice, but precious few are written by actual students. All of my experiences are very fresh in my mind, and I can give you advice that’s actually useful today, advice that isn’t straight out-of-the-book.

Xatal is a blog where I post helpful articles answering your questions. If you have any questions that I haven’t answered, please feel free to contact me and ask me.

Although the main focus of this blog is around high school and college, I like to write about other things as well and will also make posts about my other interests, including computers, web design, video games, and music.

I try to post about three times a week (usually Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays), but posts may be published more or less often depending on my schedule. I refuse to throw out useless posts just to have a new post, so I like to make sure I’m posting something worthwhile beforehand.
