Employers will look at your GPA, but they will also look at what courses you took. A high GPA that was earned by taking easy classes, or by taking so few classes that it took 6 years to graduate will not be respected any more than an average or slightly better than average GPA earned by taking the hard classes and graduating on time. Everyone has the ability to do well in school if the time and effort is put forth, and that is what employers are looking for, people that are willing to put forth the time and effort to get the job done.
