Fact is, it's also a home for spammers. There are a lot of good things in Tweeter but its annoying to see that it's being infested by people who do mass following, direct messaging with sales pitch etc without even sharing any "useful" or "interesting" content. What they only know is giving out info on what they are and what they're selling.

Do I just sent them as txt? Do I have to turn in on first? No, I don't mean the phone, I mean do I have to txt ON to twitter first, then send the messages? Are there any instructions on Twitter for this. I have the web on my phone do you think I could just log into twitter from my phone? That would be easier.

I am trying twitter out, but I am still not convinced of its value. http://twitter.com/curiouscat_com I can see it for close friends but for most things I think blog RSS feeds are a better way to link people. It seems many twits just use twitter to post links to a blog post - if people want that RSS is far better. So little can be said in 140 characters it is mainly useful for quick updates of friends, I think. But it is still worth watching.
