Theres an interesting site out there that shows you what people are searching for ! Live and realtime. It also lets you text the people who keep making searches. It works as a clone of google with a few added goodies, worth checking out. Its at http://www.blahble.com

While everyone is getting all worked up about Facebook privacy, can you imagine the uproar if Google ever sold any of this stuff to marketers, much less published it? I’m speaking specifically of the user IP or whatever other identifying information they have matched up with the search phrases.

It’s more information than I’d want anyone to know about me.

The real value here is the results that Google provides – which shows us what typical searches from its data base contain, so from an SEO research perpective this is a quick and easy way to find keywords and keyphrases that people actually use to find stuff.

If you type in “Miley Cyrus is” then on Google Suggest it says: “Miley Cyrus is banned from China”
