Thanks! I love finding web galleries of good design, especially if they are not only designer websites. Designer websites have a function, but their designs would not work for any other type of website.

This is honestly the only the second blog article I have ever bookmarked. I find it so difficult to find pretty CSS designs that actually work. So many CSS designs are plain awful. Thanks for the list, although a couple of them don’t seem to be working at the moment.

Thanks for posting these links. It’s always good to have a few galleries on hand, especially when explaining ideas to clients. CSS Remix and CSS Mania are two of my personal favourites.

Have you ever had any of sites featured in these galleries? We have only been successful once and that was for a site with a very web 2.0 feel to it.

Great list, I try to open beautifully web design, but this site seem open so slow. I like CSSelite.com. The best of the best gallery from this site is really good. This is really bring some inspiration to design. Thanks for sharing.

I’m still not 100% sure they provide inspiration. I find the sites I’m having to design can’t always be “artistic” and are flooded with content. Still it can be useful especially looking at different techniques, colour themes and styles.

This is a great resource and thanks so much for sharing it with us all. I’m always looking for web design ideas and to see what works and doesn’t work from a users point of view. Sometimes the thing that we think is our site’s best feature is the biggest turn off for users if it takes time to load or is just plain annoying. By cruising these sites it gives a good indication about what works well and looks good as opposed to having only one of those things covered. These are also great to send others to to get some idea about what they might like in a design if you are developing a site for them.
