What my boyfriend did to ask me out to prom was that he got on the school P.A system and said Haley Marie will you go to prom with me? Love Dan. I thought that was really cute and I said yes.

My friends boyfriend asked her by making a lot of signs and putting them down her street. They said.
Will You
Go To
Prom With.
Then he put an arrow to him and he was in his tux.

Haha these are all good ways I went to 4 proms got asked to two and I did the asking for my two I’m a guy actually got asked to another 2 but that would have gotten to expensive.. One I wrote out in glitter will you go to prom with me on a huge piece of construction paper infront of everyone she said yes the 2nd she played soccer so asked her if she wanted to go kick the ball around she said yes we went to the soccer field and I wrote “Prom?” on the soccer ball and said hey look at this and bam she said yes lol one girl asked me just with a text i said sure and the other invited me to dinner and asked me. Just figure out what she likes and incorporate that.

@Tedo: That’s very clever! I’ll bet you DID get a lot of brownie points for it. That’s the type of idea that only works if the girl is going to say yes though, I believe — otherwise you’re in a very awkward situation haha. Congrats on the clever way, I’m glad it paid off.

i have a grea idea thats sure to catch attention. before school, i hung up a poster in the gym that asked her to go to homecoming with me. i then rolled it up and lightly tied it up with string. then i stuffed the inside with flower peddles. then when she was in p.e., i went up to my poster with a microphone and caught her attention, then cut the strings and asked her while all the peddles fell. it defintiyl caught her attention, as well as the other 60 people around and i got major brownie points. so there is a great way!

Maybe it is just me or where we live, but it seems expected to ask a girl to prom in a cute way! If it isn’t thoughtful or original does the girl even notice you? Get her attention I say!

I think that you definitely have to get the girls attention when asking her to the prom. Do something that will make her have to say yes because the guy was just too cute in how he asked!

see what im doing this year is nothing ive found online before or ever heard of. what you do is make a ton of paper swans. you know, origami. its easy to do. and you get people to help you make these swans and then you get one of the girls friends to take her to lunch or something while you and friends use the birds to spell out prom? in her front yard. then leave a note on her door that says “a few little birdies told me how great you are so i told them to stop by and ask you if you’d like to go to prom with me?”
and then of course leave your name on the card.

Well im lucky enought to be dating the girl im taking and as far as she knows im singing her happy birthday at her birthday but what she dosen’t know is that’s how im asking her to prom along with me convincing her friend to give her a note that says close her eyes :P it’s gonna be great wish me luck thats where im headed now!
