Bringing you safely through high school and into college

And I’m off to Yosemite!

So now that I’m done working, it’s time to take my only real vacation of the summer.

I’m heading off to Yosemite National Park with three close friends today, and barring any sort of a disaster, it should be a great trip, filled with beautiful surroundings, fun hikes, and simple relaxation.

Going in the middle of the week in September may seem a bit weird, but it was the best choice for us — none of us were too busy in the middle of the week, and since weekends fill up fast, it made sense to go when it’d (hopefully) be less crowded.

I’ve got a four hour drive ahead of me here, but luckily I enjoy driving.

I’ll try to take some pictures and post them when I get back!

I’ve never been to Yosemite, but some of the best times that I have had was camping with my friends. Just be careful about are any fire bans because I almost got fined thousands of dollars on several occasions because I was young and dumb!

Have fun, it is a great park. I don’t have my photos from there posted but I have photos from Olympic National Park photos and many other photos on my site. Hiking in parks is a great way to spend time.

Are you going to climb half dome? I would recommend that!

ok, I guess, it got hung up because I was linking to one of my inner pages instead of my home page.

Anyway, I was just wondering how your trip was Paul. I was in Mammoth with my family around the same time. The weather was great but turned real cold the week after we left. I have been to Yellow Stone but for some reason, I have never been up to Yosemite, even though I have lived in Southern California all my life. I am going to have to get up there and check it out.

@Damon: My trip turned out pretty well. We went during an off time, so the falls were dry and so was a lot of other places where there could be water, but it was still enjoyable as a whole.

Very cool indeed, do you have any pictures of your trip, I’d be interested in seeing them.

Love to visit Yosemite National Park. The prictures i have seen on the internet are breathtaking. You are lucky you only have to drive four hours. Since i’am from europe I would have to sit in an airplane for a long time :)
