Xatal

Highlights of July 2009:

• That large mountain in traffic you see was a sudden burst of StumbleUpon traffic to my post about FireFox extensions. That burst was unexpected, but still very welcome, bringing about 4,000 hits on that day.
• Search engines brought most of the traffic this month once again, at around 54%. As usual, most of that traffic is from people hunting around for a good list of college dorm supplies.
• Traffic was up this month from last! After a 4 month straight decline of overall traffic, July brought the first increase, bringing me up to a decent level. This is, of course, due to the return of traffic from StumbleUpon.
• Xatal had its first guest post this month, about working with your teaching assistants written by Liam. I really like the idea of guest posts, and if anybody is interested in writing a guest post about high school or college life, feel free to contact me.
• There haven’t been as many changes this month at Xatal as there were in June, just minor improvements here and there. Things seem to be doing well! I was considering a redesign again, but I think I’ll hold off for now.
